The Battle of Hogwarts took place fifteen years ago today. There is much to mourn, both in their world, and ours, but let’s take a moment to cast away the dementors that threaten us. Luna is right, as she so often is. We’re still here, and we’re still fighting for a better world. There is a lot to be sad about, and angry about, and there is a lot, and I mean a LOT, we still have left to fight. But there’s still hope, and beauty, and love in the world. And that’s important.
